What it is
A Medium valuable worth $3,500 to $4,500 with a mass of 2. Its blue display shows the weight of any item or valuable placed on top; when the Scale is damaged or not sitting upright it shows "ERROR" in yellow instead.
Handling it
It is the only object in the game that will tell you an item's mass directly, which is a genuinely useful lookup if you are trying to work out whether something is within your strength breakpoint. Beyond that it is an ordinary carry: standard durability, mid-range value, no trap.
