What it is
A Medium trap valuable worth $850 with a mass of 0.5, strength breakpoint 0, impact damage 0/2/5/8. Each shot deals 26 damage to monsters and 10 to players, and every shot fired costs it value — as much as $300 a time.
Handling it
Flick it toward a target to fire; the projectile physics behave much like the Pulse Pistol, so it can kill smaller monsters outright. The danger is accidental discharge: near a pit, one twitch can launch you or a teammate into it. Set it down only in a C.A.R.T. or at extraction, never on open floor. An Indestructible Drone suppresses its firing entirely, which is the safe way to transport one you do not intend to shoot.
REPODLE hints
An $850 value with a mass of 0.5 is unique to the Star Wand. Approaching from size, Medium at mass 0.5 gives only the Star Wand and the Crystal, both Swiftbroom exclusives, split by value at $850 against $2,000.
