Behaviour

It roams until it sees a semibot, then groans and stretches out its arms as a tell before attacking. Its basic swipe deals 5 damage, but it will sometimes chain into a dropkick worth 5 on the hit plus 10 on the wall impact, so 15 in practice. After a few attacks it simply sprints off, and it can outrun an unupgraded semibot. Its signature behaviour is theft: find a dead semibot's head and it will wear it, after which it attacks faster and longer and will hunt down the nearest living player even if it never saw them.

How to survive it

Stunning it makes it drop a stolen head immediately — a Boltzap, a Tranq Gun, a stun grenade, or simply grabbing it all work. Grabbing requires four strength upgrades solo or two players together. Tumbling into it also stuns it at a cost of 5 health. Killing it is usually the better outcome: it does not have much health, it stays gone for a long stretch of the level, and you get the orb.

REPODLE hints

Five damage narrows the whole roster to Bella, Bowtie and Headgrab. Bella is Level 1 with a unique detection profile, and the Bowtie is Heavy with a breakpoint of 7, which leaves the Headgrab as the Light, breakpoint-4 option. Light weight paired with a Medium orb is itself uncommon and worth remembering.
