What it is
A Medium valuable worth $850 to $1,100, mass 0.8. A large brass frame with a convex lens. Objects viewed through it appear slightly larger. That is the entire effect.
Handling it
Nothing special is required. It is unusually cheap for a Medium item, which means it competes badly for cart space against anything else in the room — on a level where you are choosing what to leave behind, this is a reasonable thing to leave behind. Its impact damage line tops out at 16, below the 30 needed to stun large monsters.
