Effect
Install in truck to recharge electrical tools
What it does
A single crystal fully recharges one shop item, regardless of how depleted that item is, and adds four bars of charge to the truck. The shop stocks up to five at a time and the truck holds ten. Its price climbs with the level, starting around $5,000.
How to use it
Because one crystal restores an item to full no matter its remaining charge, never spend one on something that is only half empty — you are throwing away the difference. Run rechargeable weapons down to nothing first. Buying crystals is usually better value than buying a second copy of a rechargeable weapon, and it is what makes the expensive rechargeables like the Photon Blaster and the C.A.R.T. Laser sustainable across a run.
REPODLE hints
A max amount of 10 belongs to no other tool — every other item in the game caps at 1 or 3, so a green max-amount cell above 3 is an instant solve. It is also the only Utility item with a Passive sub type. Its Recharge effect type is shared only with the Recharge Drone.
