Effect
Attach to a valuable to make it indestructible
What it does
While attached, the valuable cannot lose value from damage at all. The trade-off is deliberate: a protected valuable also stops damaging and stunning monsters, which shuts down the trick of using loot as a weapon. Two items ignore the drone entirely — the Tray and the Cocktail still lose value if they are tilted. Unlike the other drones, it cannot be attached to a player.
How to use it
Reserve it for the single most valuable, most fragile object on the level, especially anything you have to move a long way or lift over a gap. It is the direct answer to a Rugrat, whose entire threat is throwing your loot, and to any run where a Reaper or a Bowtie is loose near your cart.

Protection is an effect type with exactly one member. Alongside Distraction (Duck Bucket) and Revive (Defibro), those are the three one-item effect groups in the dataset, so any of them is an immediate solve. Failing that, Drone + Passive narrows to this and the Feather Drone, split by price — $22,000 against $14,000.
