What it does
Twelve bars of charge. Attached to a shop item, it recharges that item at its own expense and switches itself off when the job is done. Once its battery is empty it is dead weight until you take it back to the truck and recharge it there.
How to use it
It is the field version of the Energy Crystal, and the comparison decides when to buy it: a crystal restores an item to full instantly but is consumed, while the drone can be topped up at the truck and reused for the whole run. If your loadout is built around one expensive rechargeable — the Photon Blaster, the C.A.R.T. Laser, the Zero Gravity Drone — the drone pays for itself. If you are running single-charge weapons, it does nothing at all.
