Trapzap Mine
The Trapzap — everyone calls it the Stun Mine — is a bear trap that zaps. It does not explode; it latches onto whatever triggered it and follows the target around delivering ten seconds of continuous shocks.

Effect
Electric proximity mine, stuns and damages
What it does
It takes five seconds to arm and emits a red beam once live. When a player or monster steps on it, the trap starts slowly chasing that target, and on catching up it zaps the area around itself once per second for 3 damage — 30 in total across its ten-second active window — stunning everything nearby the whole time. Then it deactivates. It is the only rechargeable mine.
How to use it
Read it as a ten-second area stun rather than as damage, because 30 total is nothing. The stun is what buys you the room. It is also the one mine you can afford to use speculatively, since recharging it costs an Energy Crystal rather than another $2,000. The community's favourite combination — attaching a Roll Drone to a live Trapzap so it chases the nearest player and zaps them repeatedly — is a good way to end a friendship.
REPODLE hints
Three damage is unique and is the lowest non-zero damage value in the tool dataset. It is also the only rechargeable item in the entire $2,000 tier and the only rechargeable Explosive, so a green rechargeable cell alongside an Explosive category is effectively a solve on its own.
