Effect
Creates a zero-gravity field in an area
What it does
Activated, it generates a blue sphere in which items and players hang suspended. A player inside jumps very high and falls very slowly; items placed inside stay where you put them, and anything that enters while moving keeps its momentum. The v0.1.2.55 pass increased its radius by half and stopped it draining extra power with players inside.
How to use it
Its real job is the extraction point on late levels, where valuables are large, heavy and numerous, and C.A.R.T.s and haulers stop being practical. Drop the orb beside the extraction and you can stack big valuables in mid-air or on top of each other while the countdown runs. One warning: do not activate it near a C.A.R.T. full of small valuables, because they will float out and never feed into the extraction. Park the C.A.R.T. in the extraction point first, then switch the orb on for everything else.

It is the only Levitation item in the $38,000 tier and the only one of the four filed under Utility + Active with that price. Among the four Levitation tools — Feather Drone, Zero Gravity Drone, Zero Gravity Orb, Zero Gravity Staff — price alone separates every one of them: 14,000, 22,000, 38,000 and 14,000, with the last tie broken by category.
