Behaviour
Bella is invisible while docile — only the red tricycle it rides is rendered, which is your one warning that it is nearby. It is neutral by default and only reacts to being touched, grabbed, or having its path blocked, which includes standing behind a door it wants to go through. Each disturbance rings its bell: first a short ring, then a longer one, then a rapid ring as it turns to face you. After the third, it materialises and goes berserk — flying, moving erratically, and swinging for 5 damage per hit at high speed for roughly five seconds. The warning counter resets ten seconds after the last ring.
How to survive it
Melee is useless once it is enraged; you will just be knocked back. The Boltzap is the right tool, since a ranged stun interrupts an incoming attack outright and stunning an attacking Bella makes it forget the whole thing and go docile again. If it starts approaching, get onto an elevated surface or duck under something, because a roaming Bella cannot reach either. The subtle trap is object movement: if you are hauling something large and it blocks Bella's path, you will trigger it without ever touching it.

Bella has a detection profile shared with nothing else in the game: Blocking Path and Touch, with no line of sight and no proximity. If Classic mode gives you those two and only those two, the puzzle is already over. Everything else about it is mid-range — 200 health, Medium weight, Small orb, 5 damage — so lean on detection rather than the numbers.
