Effect
Human-shaped grenade with wide blast radius
What it does
Flip the handle and pull the pin with a press, and roughly four seconds of fast ticking later it detonates for 100 damage to every monster in range and 50 to a semibot, with solid knockback on both. The radius is about the length of a Clown, or five Gnomes standing in a row. It knocks back small and medium monsters but not the heavy ones.
How to use it
It is outclassed by the ordinary Grenade in almost every respect — less damage, similar radius — so the case for it is purely financial. At $1,000 it is the one explosive you can afford on a bad level, and the four-second fuse is short enough that a monster cannot casually stroll out of it. Remember it only appears in the hidden attic room, so it is a find, not a plan.
REPODLE hints
At $1,000 it is the only tool in its price tier and the cheapest item in the game, so the price column alone solves it. Its 100 damage is also unique among tools. If you are working from the top, Explosive is an eight-item category and the price ladder inside it runs 1,000 for the Human Grenade and 2,000 for everything else.
